My journey to AI education began long before I discovered artificial intelligence. I was born into a family where education and creativity were equally valued. My father was a librarian and scholar. My mother was a master seamstress and business owner.
From my father, I inherited a love for information and learning. From my mother, I learned creativity and the art of transformation. I am the intersection of their worlds: technical understanding and creative expression.
My path has been anything but linear. Healthcare, food service, emergency billing, higher education, corporate environments. I've been a teaching assistant, mentor, jewelry maker, and student of both humanities and technology. Each role taught me about systems. How they work, how they fail, and how to find your way through them.
When I finally embraced technology, it was like coming home. This website, three custom WordPress plugins, a gamified mental fitness app (ProveitPal), newsletter systems, booking functionality, all built with AI assistance. Production-grade software, built by someone who struggled with traditional educational structures.
If I can do it, you can too. The key is learning to think with AI, not just use it.
