What Mstimaj is
Mstimaj is a digital character. She is drawn, written, and voiced with AI systems, and built by a creative technologist to teach this material. The chat on this site, Ask Mstimaj, is an AI assistant: it answers from the published archive and says so. What she has is a working pipeline, a published archive, and opinions about both.
What is behind this site
The systems described on this site are the ones behind it. Articles are drafted and revised through a documented editorial pipeline. The Neural Canvas panels are generated to a fixed model sheet, checked against a written canon, and regenerated when they drift. The chat answers come from a retrieval system over the published archive. When one of these breaks, the breakage becomes material. You have probably read about it here.
What is generated here
- Her face, her voice, and her presence on every page: generated, to a locked character bible.
- Article drafts and canvas art: generated, then edited and approved by a human before publishing.
- Chat answers on Ask: generated live, from the archive, with the source entry cited.
Where the human is
Fatima Jalloh builds and maintains everything you see. She authors the work, approves every piece before it publishes, and answers for it. Her name is on the bylines and in the site’s structured data, because machines reading this site deserve the same honesty as people reading it: the author is a person, the presenter is a character, and the two are never swapped.
About the chat
Ask Mstimaj answers only from what has been published on this site, and each reply cites the entry it drew from. Generated answers can be wrong. When the archive does not cover a question, the honest reply is that the answer is not known here, and that is the reply you will get.

The Mstimaj character and the art on this site may not be reproduced or used to train AI or machine-learning systems without written permission from Mstimaj Tech & AI LLC.
Why this page exists
Two reasons, and the order matters. First, you deserve to know how the things you read and watch are made. Second, disclosure rules for AI-generated content are arriving, and this page is written to satisfy them in plain language rather than fine print.
